Re: Death to the Queen!
She continued sobbibg, half of her tears leakingthrough the fabric of my silk nightgown. She was still trying to recover from the loss of my father. Even though it had been a long while since he had passed, she was still in a deep state of despair and refused to accept his Los.

He packed everything he thought he would need: Not much. As for weapons, he could kill with his bare hands if necessary. But he headed down to the weapons room anyway.

"Mama, you must calm yourself. The kingom needs you, and you aren't much help when you are in such a state." I tried to convince her to return to the throne room, but she just Continued crying. It was hopeless trying to convince her of much of anything nowadays.

Derek grabbed a few weapons with advice from the expert– Sir Andrew Collins. He headed upstairs with the three small weapons he'd chosen.

I put my arm over her shoulder, then slowly started walking her to her room. When we arrived outside her door, I opened it for her, then let her lay down on the bed after she changed into er nightgown. A servant set a cup of tea on the desk next to her bed, then I told her goodnight then left the room, closing the door behind me.

He brought his pack down to his horse, strapping him up for the journey. He went back into the kitchen and grabbed something to eat before taking out on his journey.

As soon as I shut the door, I went straight to my room. I lay down on my bed, tryin to fall asleep.

He finished the small but sustaining meal and rode off into the forests, all the while thinking about his task. Hopefully the princess wouldn't be ugly. An attractive princess would at least make this long task bearable.

It took a while before I decided to just read myself to sleep. I picked up my book from my desk, opening up to the page I had left off on.

The stallion ran along through the forest, despite the darkness.

I read for another hour until I felt my eyelids drooping from being so tired. I set the book down, then lay on my side and fell asleep.

They stopped, reaching a fork in the beaten path.

Of course, like there has to be in every story like this, there was a brighter path and a nightmarish path. And simply for the better of the story, he took the bright path.

**fast forward to about ten minutes later**
I suddenly jerked up in my bed. My dream had suddenly ended with the death of my father, and I couldn't bare staying asleep to see it. I quietly tiptoed out of my room and down the grand staircase. I went to the stables, and started to tack up my horse.

The white steed trotted through the forest, not noticing the wolf following him.

When my horse was ready, I jumped onto her back and rode sidesaddle. I slowly directed her towards the forest, where I hoped to find some piece and quiet.

Suddenly, the wolf attacked. It leapt toward the steed and Derek. His horse charged, running crazily through the forest.

Re: Death to the Queen!
I heard the loud, fast hoofbeats of another horse. My horse started to crazily shake her head back and forth, kicking her front legs back and forth. I pulled on her reins and staedied her, looking around for the other horse.

He eventually got the stallion to stop, but not before he was bucked onto the ground, landing in the mud. He stood up, grumbling.

I finally saw the horse, and saw his rider, standing by it and covered in mud. I pulled my horse up next to him. "Are you all right? That was quite a fall."
Re: Death to the Queen!
He rolled his eyes. "I'm fine!" he snapped, and instantly regretted it. A beautiful girl sat on a horse in front of him. She was most likely the princess.

I glared at the boy. "I would offer to help, but apparently you are fine." I started to turn my horse around, back towards the csstle.
Re: Death to the Queen!
"Wait, stop, I'm sorry!" He ran after her, forgetting his horse.

I slowed down a bit, letting him catch up. "Who are you? And what business do you have here?"
