Love is a Magic All On its Own

At an average, but private, high school, there is a not-so-average girl. Sure, she's smart, she's funny, she's kind, but she can also perform magic. The magic can be good or bad, but she prefers to only use it for good. Almost everyone knows about her abilities, and those who don't still know that she's special. She's used her abilities to help others around her for longer than she can remember. She's not afraid of others knowing, and she definitely wouldn't hesitate to help another person.
All of this changes, though, with the arrival of a new student. He's what schools hate: a trouble student. This private school he's been sent to because of his parents' hopes of him getting his act together seems horrible to him, until he sees the girl. The attraction between them is instant. But he doesn't know about her abilities, and she'd like to keep it that way. She thinks that if he knows, he'll think she's a freak. So she hides it from him, all the while performing tiny miracles for him without him knowing.


I'd actually prefer to be the girl in this roleplay. Anyone care to do this with me?

Bethany walked into her school and looked around. Everything seemed fine so far. Maybe she wouldn't have to use her abilities today. She sighed in relief as she walked to her locker. As good as it made her feel to make people happy, fixing their problems-a lot of which, were petty-was tiring.

Tanner arrived at the school in a loud ruckus. He had arrived on his motorcycle, and slammed the doors wide open when he walked in.

She undid the lock and opened her locker, about to get her things. As she reached for a textbook, she heard one person yelling at another. Another fight over something stupid? Bethany sighed, pointing her finger at the two girls. A faint purple glowed around them briefly, and they walked away chatting happily as it faded. Beth smiled.

Tanner walked through the hall. He pushed, well, more like mowed, down a group of nerds.

She turned back to her locker, but not before seeing the new guy. Well, she didn't know there would be a new kid, but she definitely didn't recognize him. She watched sadly as he practically trampled some kids.

[NikolMoe]

"Oh, sorry," Tanner said sarcastically to the kids he had mowed over.

[Selena112]

"Hey!" she shouted, glaring at him.

[NikolMoe]

Tanner looked at the girl with a big smirk. "Oooh, look, the little tiny hall monitor, come to the nerds rescue." he fained fear.

[Selena112]

She rolled her eyes. But he had a point. She wasn't exactly tall. So standing up to him would be kind of hard. If she wasn't able to use magic, that is. She thought for a moment. She could put a curse on him, making him appear small and weak whenever he entered the school. It would be slightly hard, but worth it. Or, she could turn him into a frog. But that was child's play.
She sighed, shaking her head. That won't do anything. Scaring him into respecting people isn't real respect. "Don't act like that, kay? Next time I might do something about it." But would that threat mean anything to him? It would to the other students...
Then again, they didn't know how far her abilities could go.

"Woah, you are totally make me wet my pants, please stop frightening me!" he said mockingly.

She rolled her eyes, just as the bell rang. "Head to class," she muttered to him before she walked away.

"Okay, Mom." He said, then walked to the office for his schedule.

[Selena112]

She rolled her eyes. When she arrived at class, she realized she didn't have any of her things. She zapped them onto the desk in front of her.

He came up to the desk. "Hi, I'm here for my schedule. Tanner Killin."

[Selena112]

She sighed, listening to the teacher.
